Zendora Updates & Announcements

Hello Singaporean Primary School Parents,

We understand that you place high importance in both academic success and cultivating a positive approach towards learning - key themes that have consistently come up in our conversations with you.

Our team has been working on a new feature: Assessments. It is a tool to help P3-P6 students prepare for the upcoming March 2024 Term 1 Weighted Assessments.

For those who are new to Zendora, you can find us on your preferred tablet app store today. 🙂 Let's dive in!

About 'Assessments' and what is included

Zendora's Assessment quiz features P3-P6 Math questions based on Term 1 topics and varied levels of difficulty. To ensure that these quizzes can be helpful in exam preparation, Zendora's team of educational technologists have worked hard to ensure that they are aligned with the latest MOE syllabus.

You can expect the following:

1) 30 questions (Term 1 Math topics, both MCQ and SAQ) for each quiz

2) Every question comes with an explanation in case your child needs to review their mistakes

Do note:

1) These questions are all about getting ready for exams, not tracking every step of your child's understanding in a specific subject.

2) Some schools may not have covered certain topics by the end of Term 1.

We recommend setting a time limit for your child while they tackle this exercise. They should also write down their working on a separate sheet of paper. (alternatively, try the in-app whiteboard function)

This helps mimic actual examination conditions, helping your child get used to similar settings.

How to find Assessments on the Zendora tablet app

Here is a step-by-step guide to accessing this feature:

1) Navigate to the Training Ground from the homepage and choose Mathematics.

2) In the left column, featuring topics, scroll down to the last and select 'Assessments'.

Create a conducive environment for your child and get started!

In summary

It is key that your child understands the fundamentals of diverse topics before moving on to tackling difficult questions. If you realize that your child is weak in certain concepts, Zendora's Training Ground has topical practice and summary videos.

While exam preparation is key, don't forget to ensure a balanced approach with regular rest periods. Consistency remains pivotal in learning, so be sure to establish an effective academic schedule for your child.

As much as your child needs support in their academics, overall well-being is equally, if not more, important. 🙂 Understand that as long as they have given their best effort, that's all that matters.

Here's wishing you and your child the best of luck for the upcoming assessment!

Best,
Team Zendora

P.S. if you are not already on the Zendora tablet app, head over to your preferred tablet app store and search "Zendora Math and Science". 😄
